IT ALL STARTED WITH A BRUSH

Hi, I'm Jack!

I'm the CoFounder of this brand and let me tell you a story that started with a brush and some paint.

Before COOLKID.THELABEL was born, there was just me and my mom (also mãe, maman, mommy e MÃEEEE?? when she goes to another room and I don't hear from her after 5 minutes).

What started as a bonding moment and educational experience while painting colour cards with my tiny hands one year ago, rapidly opened a door for a whole new world of possibilities.

With my natural skill for painting (result of descending from a family of artists, because my Mom & Dad are super creative people who create art, portraits and tattoos!) and my Mom's brain always trying to do the next creative thing (like she doesn't have already so much to take care of) she thought: oh wait...Why not transform his beautiful art into something he can wear?? (also because my mom is a little bit tired of me always wanting to wear SpiderMan ou IronMan shirts, after making me believe I'm a superhero)

And so, with my precious yet unreliable help (because I'm only 2 years old and have a lot of energy) and my little brother in her belly, my Mom started to create what now is COOLKID.THELABEL.

I've found out my Mom started drawing women's clothes ate age of 9! Her dream was to be a fashion designer but then life happened. She evolved and old dreams were put on a shelf to leave space for a bigger dream: Motherhood
She says it is the most beautiful thing in the world but it's also easy to lose herself in it.

So now I'm here to help her build her childhood dream because all moms deserve to find themselves again and together we can't wait to create special pieces for all the cool kids out there!
